A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Friday, November 4, 2011 at Culley's MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel where family will receive friends following the service. Born in Adel, Georgia, she was a long time Tallahassee resident. Christine and her husband, Robert owned and operated Horne's Gulf Service Station at Magnolia and Tennessee. After Robert's death she worked for Joyner's Travel Center in Lloyd, Florida. Christine was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church.She will be remembered for her sweet spirit and her kind, loving and giving heart. An excellent southern cook, her biscuits were well known. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Patricia Adams, her son, Dale Horne of Dallas, Texas, two brothers, Henry Joseph "Buddy" Collins and James Travis Collins ( Carolyn), one grandson, Robert Bradley Adams and four great grandchildren; Payton, Colby, Cassidy and Ivan.She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, W. O. Collins and Gladys Mae Brown Collins, her sister, Maxine Rogers and her grandson, Thomas Brian Adams.
