Mary Cecilia Buote The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, February 26, 2009, of Mary Buote (nee Malone) of North Rustico, age 72. Mary was the loving mother of Michael Buote, Linda Toole (Art), Donnie Buote (Susie), Paul Buote (Shirley), Phyllis McCabe (Wade), Carl Buote (Wanda), Tisha Buote (Elmer), Peter Buote, Brian Buote (Rebecca) and Debbie Collister (Garner); treasured Nanny of grandchildren Niki, Darryl, Robert, Marsha, Kelly, Tara, Cody, Adam, Cory, Sarah, Misty, Jessica, Christine, Ashley, Philip, Robyn, Nellie, Christopher, Max, Kandice, Thomas, Nicholas, Lucas, Lexi, Daniel and Hailey; and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Marion Pineau (Alyre), Evelyn Arsenault (Lou) and Phyllis McGrath; and brother, John Malone (Mollie); Aunt Mickey Malone (Matt); and nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed dearly by her puppy, Cuddles. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Nellie Malone (nee Conway); brother, Peter Malone; sister, Patsy Holmes; grandsons, Joshua, Andrew and Alexander; brother-in-law, Pat McGrath; and many aunts and uncles. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, March 1, 2009, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Monday, March 2, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Church Cemetery.
