MILLER, MARY CATHERINE STEWART, 86, of Portland, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Born April 25, 1923 to Josephine and Everett E. Lanham, she was a homemaker and 60 year member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Harry, Joseph and Everett A. Lanham. She is survived by her four children, Darryl Stewart (Carol), Darlene Mattingly, Deborah McIntosh and Denise Maloney (Bill); 14 grandchildren, Kenny Stewart (Karen), Richard Stewart (Bonnie), Erik Stewart, Pamela Harris (Rob), Kathy McIntosh (Joe), Lori Lynch (Doug), Chris McIntosh, Cory McIntosh, Cindy Losik (Shannon), Shannon Jett (Keith), Paula Caulk (Eric), Timothy Cooper, Kevin Cooper (Susan) and Allen Cooper (Angie); three sisters, Florence Ernst, Dorothy Gregory, and JoAnn Greenwell; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass will be noon Monday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway, followed by burial in New Albany National Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at J.B.
