HORNE, Mary Catherine (Miller)With great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at her residence Goodness Retirement Living St. Thomas, formerly of Windsor ON, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard F. Horne (1997). Survived by her children David, Pamela (Bill Noble), Donna (Wayne Lausch - 2003), and Dorothy West (Mike Whalen). Mary will be dearly missed by six granddaughters; four great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Mary was born in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia on December 2, 1922 to the late Lt. Col. Charles and Flora Miller of Lunenburg and was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre, (1969 Wyandotte St. E, Windsor) on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 with Visitation commencing at 11:00 a.m. and Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Reception. Private Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
