GIBSON, MARY CATHERINE, 86, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Miller and Wilhemian Lentz Miller and a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, with her biggest joys in life coming from her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Walter Bernard Gibson. She is survived by her children, Donald Rae Gibson (Kathy), Judy Ann Hawkins (Larry) and Nancy Hosp (Howard); grandchildren, Mike, Marit, Wendy, Jeffery, Stacy, and Kevin; and six great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Ratterman's 3711 Lexington Road, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Care Society.
