Mary Catherine Carter, 94, passed away with friends and family at her side on October 26, 2008. She was born on September 23, 1914 to Carrie Porter and Mitchell Westberry. She is survived by three sons: Carey Westberry (Mary Lee), Lonnie Carter (Patricia), and Jerry Carter as well as one daughter, Carrie Ann Moody, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a large number of friends whom dearly loved her. Funeral services for Mrs. Carter will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
