Obituary of Mary Carter

Mary Louise Swantner Carter, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008, in South Carolina at the age of 70.She is preceded in death by her parents, Emma Louise Swantner Hunter and George Robert Swantner Sr.; her brothers, Thomas Roger and George Robert Jr. Swantner.She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Carter; three sons, William Mark Tosheff II of San Diego, California, George Alexander Tosheff of Carlsbad, California, and Stephen Davis Tosheff of Six Mile, South Carolina; daughter, Michelle Louise Tosheff-Emura of Kawai, Hawaii; and her four grandchildren, Abigail Tannehill, Tara Louise, Kelly George Tosheff, and Leah Marie Emura. She is also survived by her brother, John Richard Swantner.Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
