Obituary of Mary Carter

Mary Frances Carter, 70, of Scott Towers, Greenville, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Hall County, Ga., a daughter of the late William Francis and Clifferd Lenora Seay Rucker. Mrs. Carter was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a sister, Louise Rucker Allen, of Clermont, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Helen Rucker, of Greenville; a niece, Debbie King, of Easley; and nephews, Douglas Rucker, of Mount Pleasant, and Zyndall Sims Sr., of Clermont. Funeral arrangements in Georgia will be handled by Ward's Funeral Home, Gainesville, Ga. Local arrangements are by Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
