COVINGTON, La. Mary Carolyn Hamilton Anderson died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006. She was born to the late Emer L. and Hazel Rankin Hamilton in Ludlow, Ky. on May 23, 1939 and was the loving wife of Russell L. Anderson, M.D. for 53 years.Surviving her are her children, Russell Scott and James Walker Anderson, Sheryll Lynn Anderson and Mary Elizabeth Cherry; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters.Three brothers preceded her in death.She was truly a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Carolyn moved to Covington, La., 10 years ago and has been one of the few breeders of Connemara Ponies in the state. She attended the University of Alabama and previously lived in Luray, Va. then Tuscaloosa, Ala. for 20 years prior to settling in Covington.Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at 10 a.m. from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time.
