ADAMS, MARY C.Mary C. Adams died peacefully on January 5, 2005, at the age of 86 of natural causes. Mary was born in the Bronx, New York to Anne and Thomas Condron in 1918. She was the second of six children. She grew up in New York City and graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx and received a degree in Gerontology from Molloy College, earning the highest honors at 60 years of age. She was married to William P. Adams for 58 years until he predeceased her in October, 2003. Mary and Bill spent many happy years raising their family in Carle Place, Long Island. Mary is survived by her two beloved sons, Bill and his wife Pam of North Andover, Massachusetts and Bob and his wife Sue of White Plains, New York. Five grandchildren, Brian, Lauren, Kim, Ryan and Kyle, as well as one brother, Jerry, two sisters, Jo and Terry, and many nieces nephews also survive her. Mary was a devout Catholic who attended daily mass and committed her life to her family and her church. Following her graduation from college in 1979, Mary was employed by Catholic Charities as the Nassau County Director of the Meals on Wheels Program. She was involved in many volunteer projects throughout her life and is remembered lovingly by all who knew her. Family and friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY on Sunday, January 9, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of Our Lady of Sorrows in White Plains, NY, on Monday, January 10, 2005, at 10am.
