Mary Walters Brown, 84, of 7500 Highway 24, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at NHC Healthcare of Anderson. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Bub and Anna Bell Outz. Attended: Oakdale Baptist Church. Retired: Woodside Mill. Survivors: A son, Harold Rice, of Townville; a brother, Don Richardson, of Fair Play; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased: A son; a daughter; a half sister; and a brother. Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at The McDougald Funeral Home. Service: Beaverdam Baptist Church Saturday at 3 p.m. Burial: Church cemetery.
