Mary Wilson Brown, 90, of 41 Buist Ave., died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at Laurel Baye Nursing Home. Born in Murfreesboro, Ark., Mrs. Brown was a retired kindergarten teacher and a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church in Pittsboro, N.C. She is survived by three daughters, Maryette Bost of Statesville, N.C., Pat Joyner and Jane Hincemon, both of Greenville; three granddaughters, Melanie Vaughn of Newport, N.C., Michelle Armstrong of Greensboro, N.C., and Tracy Gardner of Greenville; and five grandsons, Mark Vaughn of Garner, N.C., Michael Vaughn of Concord, N.C., Chad Joyner of Hickory, N.C., Dax Joyner of Fresno, Calif., and Jamie Hincemon of Atlanta, Ga. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband, James P. Brown; and her parents, Elihu and Willie Wilson. A memorial service will be held at Pittsboro United Methodist Church, Pittsboro, N.C.
