Mary Bresnahan, 84, died Dec. 20, 2005, at her home. She was born in Lost Nation, Iowa, and lived in Port St. Lucie for 20 years, coming from Hallendale. She was an administrator with the state of Wisconsin for 19 years in Madison, Wis. Survivors include a son, Philip R. Gross of Cedar Park, Texas; daughter, Julia A. Sass of Buffalo, Wyo.; brothers, Don and Verne Balster; sister, Joan Allender; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 30 at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, where a memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.
