Mary Beth Smith, 74, Village of Holiday Lake, Port Charlotte, died Dec. 17, 2003. She was born April 6, 1929, in Vanport, Pa., and came to the Englewood/Port Charlotte area 28 years ago from there. Survivors include a daughter, Lugene Breedlove of Port Charlotte; sons Steven and Bruce, both of Vanport, Pa., David of Baden, Pa., and Frank of Burton, Ohio; and five grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held. Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service is in charge.
