WATERLOO - Mary Beth Moreno, 45, of Center St., Waterloo, NY, died Thursday (February 11, 2010) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home Inc., 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Sunday, (February 14) from 1 – 3 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 3 PM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Seneca-Cayuga A.R.C., 1083 Waterloo-Geneva Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165.Mary Beth was born in Rahway, NJ on July 25, 1964 the daughter of the late John C. and Mary E. Gaine Moreno. She had resided in the Waterloo-Seneca Falls area since 1985. She was employed by the Seneca-Cayuga Industries of Waterloo. She attended the Adult Day Health Center of Waterloo and was very active in the Seneca-Cayuga A.R.C. Mary Beth participated in the New Jersey Special Olympics in 1980 and was awarded a Gold Medal in Free Style Figure Skating by Olympic Champion JoJo Starbuck. She is survived by two sisters, Carol (James) Skordy of Seneca Falls, Susan (Robert) Sweeney of Plainfield, NJ; her aunt, Helen Sharp of West Palm Beach, FL; one nephew, Stephen Skordy of Seneca Falls; three nieces, Ann Marie (Phillip) Foy, Mary Carol Skordy, Christine (Ryan) Spicuzzo; her Center St. Family, Donna, Jay, Rodney, Carol, Michelle, Candy, Colleen, Rick, Michael, Bob, & Jamie.In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Jerry Moreno.
