Obituary of Mary-Bennett Carter

CARTER Mary Bennett Carter, 72, passed away on April 10, 2010. She was a life long resident of Jacksonville. Her love for children was never ending and she had a home daycare for 30 years. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt that she touched their lives in many ways. Her husband Donald Carter, brothers and sisters, David Bennett, Ethel Gower, Cary Bennett, Grace Taylor, King Henry Bennett, Sr. and Ernest Bennett, Jr. predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Gene Tomlin, Jr. (Ellie), grandson, Shawn Tomlin (Kandi), step-children, Donnie Carter, David Carter and Tina Seal, sister ,Ernestine Jacob, brothers, Daniel Bennett (Charlene) and Stanley Bennett (Jeannie), sister-in- law, Judy Bennett, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00PM in the Chapel of NAUGLE FUNERAL HOME , were the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8PM. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Kenny Hall, Skip Rose, David Gower, David Carter, Cary Bennett, Donnie Bennett, Michael Hall and J.C Gower.
