Obituary of Mary-Bates Carter

WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Bates Carter, of Martin Luther King Drive, entered into rest Monday, December 10, 2007 at Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in Walker Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 1:30 p.m. at 505 13th Street, Apt. B., in Landmark Apartments. Visitation will be held today, December 13, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She leaves her memory with sister, Betty Yvonne Dicks, New Ellenton, S.C.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bates; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Peoples Funeral Home.
