SMITH Mary B. Smith, aged 89, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2002. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Annie Ricketts, siblings, Charles Ricketts, Burrell Ricketts and Frances Milligan and husband, William T.Tommie Smith. She is survived by siblings, Evelyn Hartley, Homer Ricketts, Jr., John Ricketts and Elizabeth Benish, her son, William T. Billy Smith, Jr., daughter-in-law, Virginia Smith, grandson, Michael Smith (Deborah), granddaughter, Michele Smith, and ten great-grandchildren: Jenifer, Amanda, Thomas, William, Gracie, Robert, Margaret, Charles, Rosemary and Rush Smith. The viewing will be held at Hardage-Giddens, 4115 Hendricks Ave., on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 am at Greenlawn Cemetery.
