Mary B. Ely, 76, Ellenton, died May 6, 2005, in Westminster Towers in Bradenton. She was born March 30, 1929, in Binghamton, N.Y. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Palmetto. Survivors include a daughter, Glenda; sons David Scone, Ted Scone, Aiden and David; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren. No visitation is planned. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Palmetto. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel, is in charge.
