Obituary of Mary-Anne Martin


Mary Anne DuSablon, 66, on June 9, 2005 in Cincinnati. Librarian, Walnut Hills Branch, The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Author: Walking the Steps of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Cincinnati Recipe Treasury, America's Collectible Cookbooks, and other publications. Formerly Director of Drama, St. Xavier High School, Cincinnati and Loyola Academy, Wilmette, IL. RTA bus driver, Wilmette, IL. President, Goshen Township Property Owners. Public Relations Officer, National Organization for Women. Mary Anne was a Democratic Party Election Judge for 25 years. She graduated with the 1956 St. Mary's High School Class and attended classes at Xavier University. For many years she was an organist at St. Rose Church. Mary Anne is survived by her beloved children, Julia Marcel (Leonard) of Columbus, Jeanmarie of San Francisco, Charles Martin (Kristy) of Cincinnati and Theresa Rose of Toledo; cherished grandchildren, Alexander Robert and Laura Anne Jewell, Lucas James and Maxwell Charles DuSablon and Lillian Rose King; dear family; mother, Bernadette (Maxwell) Martin, Peggy Lee (John) Sorrentino, Thomas James (Phyllis) Martin and Linda Joan (Robert) Alfieri; nine nieces and nephews; friends, Susan Kemper and Ralph and Mary Aust; faithful dog, Boy. Preceded in death by father, Charles Edward Martin, Chief of Homicide, Cincinnati Police Department. Contributions in her memory may be made to Animal Rescue Fund, Inc., P.O.
