Mary Ann De Masi, 78, of Toms River passed on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Holiday Care Center, Toms River. Visiting will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, silvertonmemorial.com. Funeral service is on Friday from 10 a.m. at the funeral home; arrive at 9:30. Entombment is in Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Born in Newark, Mrs. De Masi lived there until moving to Toms River in 1994. She is survived by her husband, Dominick; three sons, Michael and Frank, both of Toms River, and Anthony of Belleville; two daughters, Loretta Lauer of Florida and Mary Ann Demeraski of Toms River; one brother, Sam Pellegrino of Toms River, and one sister, Ann Pica of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, Benjamin Pellegrino, and one sister, Connie Mattarocchio.
