Mary Ann passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2014. She was born on June 4, 1935, in Akron, Ohio. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore "Tony" and Annie Achimasi; husband, Robert; and brother, Ronald. She is survived by her brother, Theodore (Dorothy) Achimasi of Tallmadge, Ohio; sister-in-law, Mitsuko Achimasi of Japan; along with nephews, niece, and great nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Poway. Interment will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Memorial Donations can be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church or the Humane Society.
