Mary Ann Roberts, 83, of Fayetteville passed away April 6, 2014. Mrs. Roberts was born in Athens, Ga., to the late James and Agnes Lindsay. She was the owner/operator of Little Ones Daycare Inc. for 30-plus years. She was also a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a son, Leon "Buzzy" Kidd Jr.Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jack Roberts; daughter, Deborah Lynn Butler; sons, James Edward Roberts and Robyn Frank Roberts; grandchildren, Jennifer Cantrell, Jeff Butler, Chris Butler, Meredith Berwanger, Mary Roberts, Ian Roberts, Kristin Settles, Kelly Mangum, Kimberly Kidd, Blake Roberts, Bevan Roberts, Bradley Roberts and Brock Roberts; 11 great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating.
