O'DOWD, MISS MARY ANN, of Coral Gables passed away on June 1,2014. Mary was born on October 11, 1923 - the daughter of Katharine Dyer O'Dowd and William Henry O'Dowd, and sister to eight siblings. Mary was pre-deceased by her brother William "Bill"; and, her sisters Virginia O'Dowd, Joan Degan and Sheila Tobin. She is survived by her sisters Alice O'Dowd and Katharine Gregory; and, her brothers, James O'Dowd- wife Liz of St. Louis; Frank O'Dowd- wife Jean of Coral Gables; sister in law Sherri O'Dowd and brother in law Robert Tobin. In addition there are 21 surviving nieces and nephews of the O'Dowd, Gregory, Tobin and Degan families. Mary graduated from St. Theresa's , and was a member of the Epiphany and St. Augustine parishes in her lifetime. Visitation at Stanfill Funeral Home from 6-8pm Thursday, June 5. Funeral Mass- Epiphany Church at 11am Friday June 6th. Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery.
