CARROLL Mary Ann Elizabeth Carroll, daughter of the late Mary O'Connor Carroll and J. Richard Carroll, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, July 16, 2007 with her family and friends at her bedside. Mary Ann was a graduate of Stratford High School and earned a B.S. M.A. and 6th year degree from Southern Connecticut State College in education. She was a retired school teacher for the Stratford School System. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church and actively involved with the Ladies Guild and Drama Club. She was also a member of the Gaelic American (Glee) Club.and the Greater Bridgeport Retired Teachers Assoc. Mary Ann was the beloved sister of William J. Carroll, Charles A. and Dorothy Carroll, Richard D. and Barbara Carroll, Thomas V. and John G. Carroll. She will be deeply missed by her nephews and nieces, Richard, Jacqueline, Dennis , Thomas and Daniel Carroll, Michael and Rachel Carroll , Thomas and Heather Carroll, Kelly and Jay Palazzo, Brian and Colleen Carroll; grandnephews and grandnieces, Richard, Matthew, John and Brianna, Carroll, Samantha, Diana, Hallie and Nora Carroll, Liam, Riley and Brendan Palazzo, Lucy Carroll, and Ryan and Emily Carroll. She also will be missed by her loving aunts; Kay Ambrose, Dot Hansen and Madeline O' Connor and numerous cousins and friends. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday at 10 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Grace Church Second Hill Lane, Stratford for a mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd.
