<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->May 23, 1938-Aug 2, 2014 Mary Ann Cox, age 76 of Birmingham, AL passed away on August 2, 2014. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was devoted to God and her church where she loved to sing in the church choir. She loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Della Cox, and her brothers, Chester, Jimmy and Weldon Cox. She is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Engle, Betty McClendon, Gloria Battles, Margaret Williams, and Margie Cash (Marvin); brother, Billy Cox (Geraldine); sister-in-law, Carolyn Cox; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many loving friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 12 to 2PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2PM in the chapel and burial will follow at Chalkville Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Johnson will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
