JOINER, MARY ALICE, 69Gainesville - Mary Alice Ray Joiner, age 69, died July 15, 2010 in Gainesville, FL. Ms. Joiner was born September 16, 1940 to the late Japp Ross and Alice Farnbach Ray in Boardman, FL. She worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service, and retired from the post office in Memphis, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was kind, caring, and giving. She was a Christian, and always found the best in others. Ms. Joiner is survived by her children; Glenn (Becky) Joiner of Jonesboro, AR., RaLynn (Tony) Mattei of Denver, CO., Wynette Browning of Starke, FL., and her brothers; Patrick Ray (Casina) of Yukon, OK., and Timothy (Janet) Ray of Hawthorne, FL., her sister; Delaney (Robert) Swann of Orange City, FL.; her grandchildren; Roy, Ashley, Jeffery, Joshua, and her great grandchildren; Jordan and Dana. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Michael Ray and Ross Ray. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 10:00am at Center Point Cemetery, Boardman, FL. with Pastor John Walkup officiating.
