Mary Alice Fairman (née Flemming) - May 17, 1939 - May 19, 2004 - 65, Halifax, passed away May 19, 2004, at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Lionel and Sadie (Shubley) Flemming. She enjoyed playing bingo as well as dancing, where she would always make new friends. Surviving are her husband, Robert; children, Helena, Russell, Patricia and Robert, all of Halifax; nine grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. A private family burial will take place at a later date in St. Timothy's Anglican Cemetery, Prospect Bay.
