CERNIGLIA-PAYNE, MARY AGNITA MALONE, 85, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Baptist Hospital East. She was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her previous husband, Samuel Payne; an infant son; her brother, Harold Malone; and a sister, Elma Walker. She is survived by her husband, John Cerniglia; her three daughters, Barbara Shroyer, Linda Roman and Alice Freville; her siblings, Sister Mary Alfreda, Dorothy Borders, Geneva Adams, Judy Hamilton, Aretha Reckley, Joe Malone, Wanda D'Angelo and John Malone; her nine grandchildren, Cindy (Freville) Daniel, Tom Shroyer, Jr., Lisa (Roman) Millem, Don Freville, Todd Roman, Julie Roman, Kim (Shroyer) Breidenbach, Mitzi (Freville) Gautreaux and Mark Freville; as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon on Wednesday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Athanasius' Building Fund.
