MITCHELL, MARY AGNES, of Louisville, born December 10, 1920, Mary Agnes Brady, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 31, 2005, after suffering a long illness. She was a former employee of the Courier-Journal lithographing dept. and a retired book binder of the Printing House for the Blind. She was a member of St. Cecilia Church, the American Legion Post 193 Ladies Auxiliary, and former volunteer for Sister Visitors. She was preceded in death by husbands, George "Jackie" Dugan and William "Ed" Mitchell and a daughter, Susan Richardson. She is survived by her son, Stephen Dugan; her daughter, Nellie Broadway; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Bruce. Her time on earth was well spent as she selflessly served others and lived a modest life pleasing to God. She will be missed by family, friends and neighbors and fondly remembered by all those who knew her. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 West Market Street, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday and 1 - 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts may go to Hurricane Katrina Relief.
