ADAMS, Mary October 15, 1916 - May 21, 2006 Mary Adams passed away on May 21 at the age of 89 after a brief illness. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Jim Adams; her parents, John and Ann Drebit; her grandson, James Michael; her sister, Kate Semeluk and her brother, Bill Drebit. Mom will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren, Rosemary and Bob Akizuki (Allan, Michael, David and Tracy), Barbara and Jim Gilchrist (Jeanne, Karen and Amy), Janie and Bill Adamson (Neesja, Travis, Naomi, Tabatha, James and Matt), James and Linda Adams (Aaron, Nick and Corbin), Lorraine and Drew Kennedy (Andrea and Ian), Linda and Yves Anglehart (Sam), Douglas and Joanne Adams (Max and Harrison); also by her grandchildren's families - every addition to the family was just one more for Mom to love. All who knew Mom were drawn to her sweet and generous spirit. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Place Funeral Home, 51 Broadway Blvd., Sherwood Park, with Reverend Dick Swaren officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross and the Canadian Diabetes Society. Both charities touched Mom's life.
