WILLIAMS Mrs. Mary A. Williams, age 92, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Reginald Williams, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2009, in Bridgeport Manor, Bridgeport. She was born on February 22, 1916 in Statesville, North Carolina. Survivors include a daughter, Arquilla Pereira and her husband, Abram of Pahrump, Nevada; and sons, Ormond Williams of Bridgeport,, Wayne Williams and Leonard Williams of Waterbury, and Ezra Williams of Stamford; daughter-in-law, Maria Williams of Bridgeport; and seven cherished grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her son Andre Williams. Mary was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport and Stratford. She was a devoted member of the Messiah Baptist Church in Bridgeport. A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford.
