TRENTON, S.C. - Mrs. Mary A. Smith Harris, 73, of Harris Family Circle, entered into rest May 24, 2009. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Harris, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church where she sang on the Senior Choir. Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Harris, Gloria Simpkins, Teresa Harris, and Gwendolyn Myers; a son, Curtis (Willie Mae) Harris; a stepson, Marty (Valeria) Glover; a sister, Myrtis Smith; four brothers, Joe L. (Myrtis) Smith, Roger (Bertha) Smith, Earl (Gwen) Smith, Albert (Mae Frances) Smith; twenty-two grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
