AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Mary A. Miller, 50, of Scott Road, entered into rest April 9, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Oakey Grove Baptist Church, Evans, with the Rev. Alprentice Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mary Ann was a graduate of Plainfield High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and taught for several years in the New Jersey Public School System. She was employed as a secretary at the Savannah River Sit and as a proof-reader/editor at NUS. She was a member of Oakey Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her father, Rev. Dr. Calvin C. Miller, Kings Mountain, N.C. ; her mother, Gloria J. Matthews, North Augusta, S.C.; two sisters, four brothers, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. G.L.
