Obituary of Mary-A. Davis


Mary A. Davisof Washington, D.C.Mary A. Davis, 95, of Washington, D.C., joined the angels in heaven on Sunday, November 14, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Glenwood Davis; her parents, Anna and Gennarino Lombardi; two sisters, Virginia Lombardi and Nardina Lombardi Auchinachie and her husband, Ralph Auchinachie; and her sister-in-law, Margaret Lombardi. She is survived by her brother, Jerry M. Lombardi, Binghamton, New York; her nephew, Jerry M. Lombardi, Jr. and his partner Michael Fiur, New York City; and nieces, Virginia and Daniel J. Lane, Binghamton, New York, and Ann and John P. O'Hare, Beltsville, Maryland. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy in Binghamton, New York. She was a resident of Washington, D.C., for over fifty years.Internment will be at the convenience of the family. At Mary's request, there will be no public calling hours. The family would like to thank her private caregiver, Annette Mobley, for all her love and wonderful care over the years. Mary's memory will live on through her the beautiful works of art she painted over many years and so generously gave to friends and family. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity in Mary's memory.
