TUSCALOOSA Marvin Daniel "M.D." McGee, age 76, of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 7, 2007 at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home.He is survived by his wife, Edna G. McGee; daughter, Joyce Standridge (Henry); son, Bobby McGee (Teresa); sisters, Carolyn Stester, Peggy Nelson (Curtis), Shelia Williams (Michael); grandchildren, Mark McGee, Johnny Standridge (Tina); Ben McGee (Sadie), Amanda Cameron (Justen) and Adam McGee; great granddaughter, Athena Standridge.Pallbearers will be his grandsons.Honorary pallbearers include Barry Colburn, Gene Johnston, Ricky Turner, Bruce Hollingsworth, Rod Brasfield and friends and neighbors of Piney Grove and Yellow Creek communities.
