Mitchell, Martin J. WATERFORD Martin J. Mitchell, 81, of Davis Ave., died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Amsterdam, he was the son of the late Martin and Nora Fleming Mitchell. He was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. Mr. Mitchell was employed for 36 years at the General Electric Co. in Schenectady and retired as a design draftsman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He was husband of Victoria Breault Mitchell; father of Michele Storr (Gary) of Raleigh, N.C. and Maura Beck (Douglas) of Smithfield, R.I. He was brother of John Terrence Mitchell (Mary Ann) of Delmar; and grandfather of Mitchell, Martin and Keith Beck, Tristan and Kyler Storr. Several nieces and nephews also survive. There will be no viewing hours. Memorial services will be held in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.
