Retired from Dept. of Juvenile Justice EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Martha Young Anderson, 60, of Augusta Rd., died Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the Medical College of Ga. Mrs. Anderson was born in Spartanburg, S.C. and attended Eureka First Baptist Church. She was retired from the Dept. of Juvenile Justice in Aiken County. She was an accomplished Author and was the Author of the book "Stolen Innocence". Survivors include her Husband- David Anderson, Augusta; her mother- Emmie Young, Edgefield; 1 Daughter- Kate Anderson, Edgefield; 1 Son- Sean Anderson, Augusta; 1 Grandson- Oliver Anderson; 2 Brothers- Curtis Price, Columbia, and Fanning Young, Oklahoma. There will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
