-> Screven - Martha Nell Parker, 77, of 699 Englewood Drive Abbeville, AL, who died Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. A native of Screven County, GA, Mrs. Parker was raised an d spent most of her life in Sylvania, GA. She graduated saluatorian from Screven County High School in 1944 and attended Georgia Teachers College. She was both secretary for the Screven County High School for twenty-five years and retired after forty-five years as bookkeeper for Pickney Auto Supply. Mrs. Parker was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Gaines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Griner, a daughter, Lorraine Griner and a son, Charles Griner. Survivors include her husband, Delcom (Bo) Hobson Parker, Sr. of Abbeville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jimmy Phillips of Dawson; brother, Edsel Wells of Sylvania, GA; daughter-in-law, Pam Griner of Newnan, GA; two grandchildren, Braden Griner and Parker Griner both New nan, three step-grandchildren, Del Parker, Hollis Parker and Brooke Hacker, all of Savannah, GA and a step-son and his wife, Hobson and Terri Parker of Sylvania.
