Martha Mae Phillips, 65, Bradenton and formerly of Sarasota, died Dec. 4, 2003. She was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Sidell and came to Sarasota in 1950. She moved to Bradenton many years ago. She was a homemaker. Survivors include sisters Annie M. Brooks, Pearlie M., and Vera M., all of Sarasota, Nedda M. and Ernestine, both of Bradenton, and Elizabeth Mitchell of Daytona Beach; and brothers the Rev. Albert, Floyd, and Wiley, all of Sarasota, and Harry and Hercules of Bradenton. The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chandler's Funeral Chapel, Sarasota. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Sarasota. Burial will be in Galilee Cemetery, Sarasota.
