Martha Jean Nelson, 81, Clarksville, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Matt Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till the hour of service Wednesday at at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Nelson was born March 13, 1928 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late James W. and Mary Ann Crotzer. She was a retired bookkeeper for Iglehart Milling and volunteered at Gateway Medical Center in the gift shop. She was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joel Nelson. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son, Thomas L. (Leslie) Nelson of Clarksville; grandchildren, Brian (Tina) Nelson, Katie Nelson and Jessy Nelson and one great-granddaughter, Brianna Nelson. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
