DAPHNE Martha Jackson, age 81, a native of Northport and a resident of Spanish Fort, died Sunday, September 30, 2007.Mrs. Jackson was a teller at Central Foundry Bank, where she met her husband Cecil. They were married for 57 years.As a devoted member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden in Knoxville, Tenn., she served many years as a preschool Sunday school teacher and was an active volunteer in the FISH Food Pantry and church teller ministries. She also worked in the Mother's Day Out Preschool Program for several years.Mrs. Jackson was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jackson.She is survived by her sons, Stephen Hughes Jackson and wife, Janet of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jeffrey Cecil Jackson of Gulf Shores, Ala.; daughters, Elaine Jackson McGavin of Spanish Fort, Ala., and Cecilia J. Campbell and husband, John, of Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Peter McGavin, Megan McGavin, Jennifer Campbell, William Jackson, Patrick McGavin, Julianne Campbell, Thomas Jackson, Conner McGavin, and Sarah Jackson; sister, Grace Case of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
