AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Martha Johnson Davis, 89, of 1904 Alan Ave, entered into rest May 13, 2011 at her residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church, Springfield and was a Deaconess and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include one daughter, Deloris (Robert) Cofield, Aiken; 1 son, John Kenneth Davis, Aiken; 3 sisters, Essie Pontoo, Fannie M. Gunter both of Aiken and Norma Westmoreland, Charlotte, NC; 2 brothers, Booker Johnson, Washington, DC and Louis Johnson, Aiken; 16 grandchildren; host of other relatives.
