-->Martha D. Smith GREER, SC-- Martha Dillard Smith, 83, widow of C. Edwin Smith, died April 22, 2008 at National Health Care. A native of Greer, daughter of the late Troy McKagie and Nell McClimon Dillard, she was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, the Senior Adult Choir, and Happy Hearts. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Al Boland of Greer; a son, Charles E. Smith, Jr. of Greer; a brother, Ben H. Dillard of Greer; and three grandchildren, Jay Boland of Lyman, Jeff Boland and his wife Sarah of Grayson, GA, and Shealy Boland Reibold and her husband Rob of Columbia. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by two sisters, Rachel D. Moon and Moise D. Smith. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, April 25 at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Danny Emory and Rev. Donel Kelley. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be don Dillard, Dennis Dillard, Dr. David Smith, Doug Smith, Edward Brown, Allen Waters, Denis Cote, Rufus Genobles and Terry Wood. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home of her daughter, Myra Boland 7981 Reidville Road, Greer.
