Obituary of Martha-Carolina Anderson


Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Martha Carolina Anderson, 77, Gadsden, who died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009. Steve Minyard and Gary Munson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.She was a lifelong resident of Gadsden and a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Anderson. She was a beloved member of Smith's Chapel Baptist Church, where she loved her church family. She spent many happy years and made numerous friends working at General Time Corp.She is survived by her son, Jerry Jack (Myra) Anderson Jr., Gadsden; daughters, Patti (Paul) Bradford, Gadsden, and Mari Anderson, Australia; brother, Jimmy Smith; grandchildren, Jack (Whitney) Anderson III, Chris Bradford, Tara (Juan) Molitor and Lesley (Adam) Guthrie; and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Noah Bradford, Anderson and Kennedy Guthrie, Skye and Asa Molitor.Pallbearers will be David Westmoreland, Pat Bradford, Ralph Muskett, Gerald Gilbert, Randy McDonald and Jabe Mabrey.Special thanks to Carolyn Muskett for being the "best friend" a person could have and "special" niece, Paulette Westmoreland.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Crestwood Funeral Home.
