Martha Blackwell INMAN, SC-- Mrs. Martha Ann Hendrix Blackwell, 69, of 116 Strawberry Drive, Inman, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, NC, she was the daughter of Floyd Hendrix and Annie Sue Campbell Hendrix. She was retired from the textiles industry and a member Southside Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Ray D. Blackwell of Inman; one daughter, Judy Ann Poole of Inman; three sisters, Katherine Bradley of Rutherfordton, NC, Diane Bradley of Salisbury, NC; and Brenda Black of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hendrix. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee with the Rev. Harold Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
