ANDERSON, Martha Elisabeth (nee Shepherd) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Martha Anderson, aged 79 years on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 in Ottawa. Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald G. Anderson; children Heather (Murray) Kinnear, Sara (Philip) Ellis-Berman, Karen Anderson and special friends Joseph Cull and Ian Engelberg. Devoted grandmother to Lara, Stacey, Scott, Tolmie and Sydney and great-grandchildren Chloe and Ethan. Loving aunt of Dale Bryan and David Shepherd, sister-in-law of Rhoda Shepherd and Frank Anderson (the late Joyce). Martha was born and raised in the Kingston area and predeceased by her parents Earl and Flora Shepherd, daughter Joy Anderson and brother Bill Shepherd. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday, July 31st, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at MacKay United Church, 257 MacKay Street at Dufferin on Friday at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to The Total Communication Environment or Island Lodge would be appreciated.
