MARLENE M. JOHNSON CROWN POINT, IN Marlene M. Johnson (nee Styck), age 76, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at St. Anthony Hospice in Crown Point, IN. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James "Mickey"; two daughters: Jane (Ken) Skinner of Knoxville, TN and Elsie (David) Ruble of Crown Point; grandchildren: Mathew, Allison, John, Ryan, Brandy, Brittany, Buddy, Samantha and Jamie; great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy (Dan) Chesner of Crown Point; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Adam and Elsie Styck; and daughter, Rosalyn Rush. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Crown Point, 352 S. Main St., Crown Point, IN with Pastor Mark Wilkins officiating. Interment at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre (NOTE: NEW LOCATION- two blocks east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crown Point. Marlene and her daughter, Rosalyn, belonged to the Calumet Clown Organization, were active in many local parades and activities and was a registered U.S.T.A. Baton teacher, coach and judge. Memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Crown Point or Juvenile Diabetes or St. Anthony Hospice.
