TUCSON, Ariz. - Mark Allen Young, 26, of Tucson, AZ, died unexpectedly March 27, 2011, in Tucson, AZ.He was born on September 1, 1984, in Rutland, the son of Mark D. and Robin (Simonds) Young.Mr. Young was a former resident of Proctor prior to 2000 when he relocated to Tucson, Arizona, where he graduated from Mt. View High School.For several years he worked as an over-the-road truck driver; most recently he was employed by Celadon Trucking.Mr. Young enjoyed trucks, computers and had a natural ability to fix almost anything.Survivors include his father and stepmother, Mark and Margaret Young of Tucson, AZ; his mother, Robin Young of Center Rutland; 2 stepbrothers, Brendan Young of Tucson, AZ, and Joey Jackson of Center Rutland; paternal grandmother, Nancy (Brousseau) Young of Rutland Town; maternal grandfather, John Simonds of Rutland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, including a special aunt, Janet Porter of Ira.He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Young, in 1995, and maternal grandmother, Barbara Simonds, in 2008.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at the Aldous Funeral Home in Rutland. The Rev. Vincent J. Coppola, pastor of St. Bridget's Church in West Rutland, will officiate.Friends may call on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.Burial will be in Cheney Hill Cemetery in Rutland Town.
