-> Vidalia - Mrs. Marjorie Smith, 86, of Vidalia died Tuesday night October 12, 2004 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was a native of Montgomery County, a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church of Lyons. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Pete Smith and a son William Pete Smith. Mrs. Smith is survived by her sister, Lillie Mae Mosley of Uvalda; a nephew, Downie Mosley of Uvalda; one granddaughter, Christy Smith of Lyons; one grandson, Christopher Pete Smith of Lyons; one daughter- in-law, Tammy Smith of Lyons; one great-grandson, Tyler Luke and a special friend, Melissa "Sunshine" Harrelson. Visitation were held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday afternoon October 14th at 2:00 p.m. Ronnie L.
